The lovely woodblock print "Yobanashi" (Evening Chat) is by Katsuyuki Nishijima. Yobanashi depicts an evening chat accompanied by a tea ceremony in winter, showcasing one of the most beautiful Japanese customs. The traditional architecture featured is Wachigaiya (Ochaya) in Shimabara, Kyoto, which has stood since 1688. The gentle light filtering through Shoji (Japanese washi paper windows) and lanterns creates a heartwarming atmosphere. Please note that this is a small-sized print measuring 6 inches by 8 inches.
